By order dated 06.11.2021 (Annexure P-4) passed by District Allotment Committee-cum-Deputy Director (Field), Patiala Division, Patiala, the allotment of paddy for KMS 2021-22 was cancelled and paddy stored in the mill was ordered to be shifted.
The petitioner unsuccessful preferred first and second appeal against aforesaid order passed by District Allotment Committee. The petitioner preferred present petition before this Court wherein notice of motion was issued but no stay was granted, resultantly, respondent executed impugned order. On account of further interim orders passed by this Court, the petitioner was allotted paddy in subsequent years i.e. 2021-22, 2022-23 and 2023-24. It is apt to notice that in the impugned order, the petitioner was not blacklisted.
Learned State counsel submits that with the efflux of time present petition has rendered infructuous. The petitioner was allotted paddy in subsequent years and he in future, in accordance with policy and as per his entitlement, would be allotted paddy. He would not be denied allotment on account of impugned orders.
In the wake of statement of learned State counsel, the present petition stands disposed of.
