This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.
Mr. D. Pattnaik, learned Counsel is present and submits, as per the instruction received, he has suo motu rendered appearance representing the Opposite Party Nos. 1 to 5, who are the claimants before the Court below in MAC Case No.403 of 2020. He further submits, though the Vakalatnama has been filed with the Registry yesterday, his name is not appearing in the cause list.
In view of the above, learned Counsel for the Petitioner is directed to serve copy of the writ petition so also I.A. on Mr. Pattnaik by tomorrow (01.05.2024).
It is submitted by Mr. Khan, learned Counsel for the Petitioner that MAC Case No.403 of 2020 stands posted to tomorrow for argument. In view of the said submission made, learned Counsel for the Petitioner-Insurance Company is given liberty to move for an adjournment tomorrow before the court below in MAC Case No.403 of 2020.
On filing of application for adjournment, the Court shall do well to adjourn the matter to a date after 20. 05.2024.
Matter be listed in the week commencing from 13th May, 2024.
The Vakalatnama filed with the Registry be tagged to the record and name of Mr. Pattnaik be reflected in the cause list so also on the brief.
Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application as per rules.
Liberty is given to the learned Counsel for the Petitioner to utilize digitally signed copy of this order available in the official website of this Court for the purpose of seeking for an adjournment tomorrow in MAC Case No.403 of 2020.
