Judgment

This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.
The petitioner is in custody since 23.12.2021in connection with Kanas P.S. Case No.251 of 2021 corresponding to G.R. Case No.3390 of 2021 pending in the Court of learned Addl. Sessions Judge- cum- C.J.M., Puri for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 341/294/324/326/307/120-B of IPC.
It is alleged that the petitioner and some other persons restrained the informant, abused him in obscene language and assaulted him by means of billhook on his head, finger and palm causing injuries.
It is submitted that the co-accused persons have been released on bail and the petitioner stands on the same footing.
In such view of the matter, I am inclined to allow the prayer for bail. Let the petitioner be released on bail on such terms and conditions as the court in seisin over the mattermay deem fit and proper to impose including the condition that he shall personally appear before the trial Court on each date of posting of the case without seeking any representation. He shall personally appear before the IIC of Kanas Police Station on every Sunday at 10 a.m. for a period of six months and such fact shall be certified by the IIC to the concerned Court once in a month.
BLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
