Antony Dominic, J.—Petitioner is the guaranteer of a loan availed of by his son from the 1st respondent. Default was committed by his son and there upon recovery proceedings were initiated against the petitioner. It was challenging the recovery action, the writ petition is filed. According to the learned Standing Counsel for the 1st respondent, the liability due from the petitioner is Rs. 64,250. It is also submitted that the One Time Settlement Scheme now in vogue is in force till 31.12.2012 and that if the petitioner avails of the benefit of the said Scheme, he will get reduction of more than 18,000. when this submission was made, petitioner expressed his desire to avail of the benefit of the said Scheme.

Therefore, I dispose of this writ petition directing that it will be open to the petitioner to approach the District Manager of the 1st respondent seeking to avail of the benefit of the OTS Scheme. It is directed that if an application is made in this behalf, orders thereon, shall be passed without any delay.
