Prayer in this petition is for grant of regular bail in FIR No.240 dated 09.03.2018 under Sections 21 & 25 of NDPS Act, registered at Police Station

City Karnal, District Karnal.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, at this stage, limits his prayer to the extent that since FSL report is awaited, the petitioner may be granted interim

bail in the light of the order dated 30.05.2018 passed in Inderjit Singh @ Laddi vs. State of Punjab, 2014 (3) R.C.R. (Criminal) 953. Learned counsel

for the petitioner further submits that petitioner is not involved in any other case.

Learned State counsel has filed custody certificate dated 20.09.2018 and the same is taken on record.

Without commenting anything further on merits of the case, this petition is disposed of and the petitioner is directed to be released on interim bail

subject to furnishing his bail/surety bond to the satisfaction of the trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate/Duty Magistrate, with an undertaking that he will

surrender before the trial as and when the FSL report is received.

Petition is disposed of.
