Judgment
Gurvinder Singh Gill, J
The petitioner seeks issuance of directions to the official respondents to protect her life and liberty as she apprehends threat to the same at the hands of Sandeep Kumar, Gurpreet Kaur, Gurdev Singh and Usha Rani, against whom she has already submitted an application dated 18.3.2023 (Annexure P-1).
Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, but without commenting anything as regards the veracity of the averments made in the petition, the same is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, District Ferozepur, to get applicantion/representation dated 18.3.2024 (Annexure P-1) examined qua the alleged threat perception of the petitioner in accordance with law. In
case, it is found that there is genuine threat to life and liberty of the petitioner, then necessary steps as warranted under law be taken thereupon.
A copy of this order along with copy of application/representation dated 18.3.2024 (Annexure P-1) be sent to respondent No.3-Senior Superintendent of Police, District Ferozepur for necessary compliance.
