Judgment

This petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India has been filed seeking following reliefs:-
(i) Quash the impugned order dated 03.01.2018 and letter dated 22.11.2018 (Annexure P/3) and further be pleased to direct the respondents to permit to the petitioner for continue work till his attaining the age of superannuation 62 years i.e. 31.12.2020, in the interest of justice.
(ii) Any other relief, which this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case including cost of litigation in favour of the petitioner.
Heard the learned counsel for the parties.
Circular dated 19.12.2019 reads as under:-
It is clear from the circular that it has been given prospective effect. Since the petitioner had already retired in the year 2018, therefore the benefit of Circular dated 19.12.2019 cannot be extended to the petitioner. Even otherwise, the petitioner has crossed the age of 62 years also.
Under these circumstances, no case is made out warranting interference.
The petition fails and is hereby DISMISSED.
