Learned counsel for the respondents submits that in compliance of order dated 07.01.2020, passed in CWP No.1708 of 2019, titled as Mohan Dass vs. The Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation Ltd. & another, an amount of `5,86,513/- stands released in favour of the petitioner on 02.03.2020 against payment of gratuity. He further submits that now HPTDC is calculating interest payable to the petitioner, on account of delay in making payment and the said interest shall be calculated and released in favour of the petitioner within three months positively.
Considering submissions of learned counsel for the respondents, present petition is closed and disposed of with direction to the respondents to ensure release of the interest of delayed payment, for which petitioner is entitled, on or before 27.02.2021.
Needless to say, failure in compliance shall entitle the petitioner to approach this Court, but in that event, lapse on the part of the Corporation, shall be taken seriously. Pending application(s), if any, also stand disposed of.
