Mr. K. C. Gautam, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that on being directed, an application is filed before this Court seeking impleadment of the informant who has filed the FIR, as one of the respondent herein. It is prayed that this petition may be allowed.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has also submitted that if the petition for impleadment is allowed, the amended petition which is also filed before this Court may be brought on record.

Learned GA, Ms. R. Colney has submitted that in the first place, it was the prayer of the State respondent that the informant be made a party in this proceeding and as such, there is no objection in this respect. As far as the simultaneous presentation of the amended petition is concerned, though there may be some technical deficiency in the same however, for ends of justice, the learned GA has submitted that there is no objection to the amended petition on the part of the State if the Court accede to the prayer in the first part.

On consideration of the submission made, the prayer for impleadment of the informant as respondent is allowed. The respondent is accordingly impleaded as respondent No. 3. The amended petition is also allowed to be filed and the same is accepted.

Petition disposed of.
