Petitioner''s case in a nutshell is that:

The petitioner being aggrieved by the inaction of the Police to register the complaint of the petitioner inappropriate steps taken by the Women

Commission in giving justice to the petitioner filed this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1973 with a prayer to direct

the police to register the case and to direct the OC, Women Police Station, Tura, West Garo Hills to release two number of mobiles and the sim

cards of the petitioners. Hence this petition.

Mrs. S.G.Momin, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a complaint was lodged with the Tura Women Police Station, but the same was

not registered.

In reply, Mr. S.Sen Gupta, learned Addl. Sr. State counsel submits that the case has already been registered and the Police are investigating the

matter. Learned counsel further submits that an affidavit has also been filed in this regard.

Since the Police have already registered the case, there survives nothing to address further. However, the concerned Investigating Officer is

directed to investigate the case in accordance with law and complete the investigation as early as possible.

With this direction, the instant petition is allowed and stands disposed of.
