Judgment
Kurian Joseph, C.J.—These writ petitions are filed with identical factual matrix and similar prayers. Therefore, prayer in one writ petition is extracted as follows:
(i) Writ in the nature of mandamus may kindly be issued directing the Respondents to grant the benefit of seniority/regularization w.e.f. the due date in favour of the Petitioner as has been allowed to similarly placed persons in the department of Education, Government of Himachal Pradesh along with consequential benefits.
It is the submission of the Petitioner in these cases that to the similarly situated persons regularization has been given. The instances are pointed out at Annexures P-5, P-6 and P-7. In case the Petitioners are also similarly situated, they cannot be discriminated since such benefit has been granted to others. Appropriate action in the light of the observation as above shall be taken in the cases of the Petitioners within a period of four months from the date of production of a copy of this judgment along with a copy of the writ petition by the Petitioner concerned before the first Respondent.
The writ petitions are disposed of, so also the pending applications, if any.
