This petition is filed seeking quashment of the FIR in Cr.No.70 of 2023 registered against the petitioners for an offence under Section 365 of IPC.

According to the learned counsel for the petitioners, the defacto complainant is the mother-in-law of the first petitioner/A1 and the second petitioner is the son of the first petitioner. According to the complaint of the defacto complainant, the petitioners kidnapped her son basing on which, she filed a complaint and the police have registered the case.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that son of the defacto complainant, who is the husband of the first petitioner, is a drunken, thereby the first petitioner taken to him to the rehabilitation centre.

Mr.B.Nambiselvan, learned Public Prosecutor takes notice for the first respondent.

5.

Issue notice to the second respondent returnable by four weeks. Private notice is also permitted.

6.

The respondent police is directed to not to file the charge-sheet until further orders.
