Claim of petitioners is that they were working on contractual basis in respondent No.3-School as Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) and PET (Primary
Education Teacher) and they had made Representations to respondent â€"Directorate of Education claiming that their appointment was on regular
basis but they were made to work on contractual basis. Vide order of 4th December, 2017 (Annexure P-26), respondent - Directorate of Education
has directed respondent- School to restore the service of petitioners, if they fulfill educational qualifications as per Recruitment Rules and grant them
all the prescribed benefits as per Section 10(1) of the Delhi School Education Act & Rules, 1973 and to submit compliance report within a week.
Learned counsel for petitioner submits that advance copy of the petition has been sent to respondent-School and that respondent-School has not
complied with the order of 4th December, 2017 (Annexure P-26) of Directorate of Education and has not sought any legal remedy against the
aforesaid order of 4th December, 2017 (Annexure P-26).
In the facts and circumstances of this case, it is deemed appropriate to dispose of this petition with direction to respondent-School to positively
comply with the order of 4th December, 2017 (Annexure P-26), if not already challenged before any Forum. Needful be done within a period of six
weeks and compliance report be submitted to respondent â€"Directorate of Education, within a week thereafter, if not already done and petitioner be
also intimated about it.
With aforesaid directions, this petition is disposed of.
