Meena Kumari Saini vs Kuljeet Singh

We have heard the learned counsel for the parties.

Having regard to the grounds on which the transfer has been prayed for, we are satisfied with the grievance expressed by the petitioner and we accept the same. Therefore, case bearing No.80 of 2019 titled as 'Meena Kumari Saini vs. Kuljeet Singh' pending before the Court of Ld. District Judge, Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir, is ordered to be transferred to the District Judge (Family Court), Pathankot, Punjab. The Court of Ld. District Judge, Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir, shall send the case record to the transferee Court promptly and without any delay.

The transfer petition is accordingly allowed.

We direct, clubbing of the aforesaid Matrimonial Case No.80 of 2019 matter with HMA No.189/2016 titled as 'Kuljit Singh vs. Meena Kumari Saini' pending before the Court of the District Judge (Family Court), Pathankot, Punjab.

We also request the Trial Court to dispose of both the matters as expeditiously as possible and not later than six months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
