The petitioner seeks the following reliefs:

“I. To issue a writ order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the order dated 14.03.2021 (contained as Annexure no. 4) and 18.04.2021

(contained as Annexure no. 5) passed by the respondent no. 2 unilaterally without giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

II. To issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to pay salary, to the petitioner, in conformity to the minimum

pay scale along with permissible allowances for the post of Asst. Line Man/Paricharak by applying the principle of equal pay for equal work.

III. Issue any such other order which this Court may deem fit and proper under the circumstances of the case.

IV. Award the cost of the petition to the petitioners.â€​

Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.

It is the case of the petitioner that he has been working with the respondent no. 2. There were other co-workers also. At one point of time,

emoluments of the petitioner and other co-workers were reduced. The co-workers filed writ petition, which was allowed and accordingly they were

paid the enhanced emoluments. But, the petitioner has been denied the enhanced emoluments.

On 02.08.2021, when the matter was heard, the Court wanted to know from the learned counsel for respondent nos. 2 & 3 as to why this has been

done.

Today, Mr. Siddhant Manral, learned counsel appearing for respondent nos. 2 & 3 would give a statement that respondent nos. 2 & 3 are agreeable

to pay the salary in conformity to the minimum pay-scale along with permissible allowances, by applying principle of equal pay for equal work. He

would submit that within six weeks from today, the payment will be made to the petitioner.

The Court takes on record the statement given by the learned counsel for respondent nos. 2 & 3.

The writ petition stands disposed of with direction to respondent nos. 2 & 3 to make payment of all the permissible dues to the petitioner and

continue paying him the salary as claimed by him.
