Heard Mr. Dhond, learned Counsel for the Applicant, Mr. Bhobe, learned Public Prosecutor for the State and Mr. Naik, learned Counsel for the Intervenor-Complainant.

This Court, by reasoned order dated 22.06.2022, granted interim pre-arrest protection to the Applicant, with certain directions and on conditions enumerated in paragraphs 11 to 14 of the said order.

The learned Counsel appearing for the Applicant submits that as directed, the Applicant has provided his contact details and residence particulars to the Investigating Officer.

Insofar as the direction relating to the obtaining CCTV footage is concerned, the learned Public Prosecutor submits that the footage has been recovered under the Panchanama and will be sent to CFSL, Hyderabad for analysis, whereafter, the Investigating Officer shall draw the Panchanama and make the same, a part of the chargesheet. Mr. Bhobe assures that the final report shall be filed as expeditiously as possible.

In consideration of the facts of the case and for the reasons stated in order dated 22.06.2022, the Application is allowed in the following terms:

(a) In the event of arrest of the Applicant, in connection with Crime No. 87/2022 dated 05.05.2022, registered at Panaji Police Station, the Applicant, Maninder Singh Attri, shall be released on bail on furnishing P.R. Bond of ₹30,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount, to the satisfaction of the Trial Court,.

(d) The Applicant shall not tamper with evidence or contact any of the witnesses and/or complainant or seek to influence the investigation in any manner.

(e) Needless to mention, in the event of breach of any conditions, the bail shall stand cancelled.

(f) It is made clear that the observations made in the order are for the limited purpose of granting bail and the Trial Court shall proceed without being influenced by any of these observations.

Criminal Application (Bail) No. 306/2022 (F) and Criminal Miscellaneous Application No. 355/2022 (F) stand disposed of.
