Petitioner through the medium of this petition seeks directions to the respondents to sanction /extend the Child Care Leave to the petitioner in view of ailing health of her child and to release the salary due to her with effect from June 2022 and also to adjust her in Jammu Campus against the post of AAO which is lying vacant.
Learned Senior counsel submits that the petitioner who had been working in Jammu office has been transferred to the Office Campus at Srinagar. However, the petitioner herself not keeping well as also her small baby who was also not well, had a right for Child Care Leave for more than one year with effect from 1st June 2022 to 30th June 2023 but the petitioner was directed to join at Srinagar and then to apply for the said leave.
Heard.
Issue notice to the respondents returnable within four weeks subject to filing of requisites within one week.
List on 01.03.2023.
In the meanwhile, respondents are directed to accord consideration to the application moved by the petitioner on 22.12.2022 for grant/extension of her Child Care Leave without insisting her to join at Srinagar and then for applying for leave.
