Judgment
Mr. Jena, learned advocate appears on behalf of the company and draws attention to his client’s affidavit dated 5th September, 2022 introducing, inter alia, joining report dated 9th February, 2019. Mr. Pani, learned advocate appears on behalf of opposite party nos.2 to 7 and files his clients’ respective affidavits, in terms of section 17-B of Industrial Disputes Act, 1947. He submits, his clients have stated in paragraphs 6 to 10 of the affidavits that the company refused to accept their joining report. It was sent by registered post. His clients were prevented from joining and they were and still are unemployed. He received copy of aforesaid affidavit dated 5th September, 2022 in Court just now.
Parties will consider their position. The company as well as the appearing workmen may file their respective objections to the affidavits filed. The objections will be accepted on adjourned date upon advance copies served.
Mr. Pani has leave to fill up the blanks in the affidavits of his clients, in Court, to be counter signed by the Court Master.
