Judgment
Hon'ble Pankaj Purohit, J.
Petitioner has filed the present writ petition on the premise that petitioner-Committee of Management runs a government-aided institution at Farsali, District Bageshwar; post of Assistant Teacher, L.T. Grade (Science) and Assistant Teacher, L.T. Grade (Mathematics), fell vacant in the College on 27.01.2026 and 26.05.2026 respectively.
Petitioner-Committee of Management submitted applications in the office of Chief Education Officer, Bageshwar, seeking permission to advertise the vacancies for the aforesaid posts, on 20.02.2026 (Annexure No.5 to the writ petition) and 27.06.2026 (Annexure No.8 to the writ petition) respectively.
It is contended by learned counsel for petitioner that these applications are pending disposal since then and due to non-availability of Teachers, education of students is at the suffering hand.
In such view of the matter, writ petition is disposed of. Respondent No.4-Chief Education Officer, Bageshwar, is directed to consider and decide the petitioner’s applications dated 20.02.2026 (Annexure No.5 to the writ petition) and 27.06.2026 (Annexure No.8 to the writ petition), in accordance with law, expeditiously within a period of one month from the date of production of certified copy of this
