Judgment
Ajay Mohan Goel, J
By way of this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following substantive reliefs:
"(i) That the impugned order dated 24.10.2019 contained in Annexure P12 passed by the respondent No. 2 may kindly be quashed and setaside being constitutionally void, arbitrary, illegal, discriminatory and against the principles of natural justice, by issuing writ of certiorari.
(ii) That the writ in the nature of mandamus may kindly be passed directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to discharge his official functions as Inspector/CTS in accordance with his promotion orders dated 2.9.2019 contained in Annexure P11 and accordingly, the petitioner be allowed all consequential benefits including arrears of pay and allowances from the date of its accrual till realization."
Learned Additional Advocate General submits that Annexure P12 was passed on account of interim order which was passed in CWP No. 1836/2016 and as the said petition stands disposed of by this Court, necessary orders even with regard to Annexure P12 shall be passed by the authority concerned, within a period of four weeks. His statement is taken on record and the present writ petition is disposed of, accordingly. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, also stands disposed of.

In view of the fact that the main petition stands disposed of, therefore, this Court is of the view that no purpose is going to be served by keeping these proceedings pending and accordingly the same are closed. Notices discharged.
