These petitions have been filed with the prayer for issuance of writ in the nature of Certiorari declaring Rule 117 of CGST Rules 2017 and HGST Rules 2017 ultra vires the provision of Section 140 of CGST Act, 2017 and seeking directions to the respondents to open the portal for the petitioners to upload the form TRAN-01.

Notice of motion.

Mr. Anshuman Chopra, Advocate accepts notice in CWP-2559, 2674 and 2680-2020 whereas Mr. Abhinav Singh, Advocate accepts notice in CWP-2617, 2751-2020 on behalf of the respondent-Union of India. Mr. Sharan Sethi, Senior Standing Counsel accepts notices in CWP-2647, 2682, 2687-2020 and Mr. Sunish Bindlish, Advocate accepts notice in CWP-2563, 2573 and 2603-2020 on behalf of the respondents.

Learned counsel for the parties are id idem that issue involved in these writ petitions is similar as in CWP No. 33742 of 2019 titled as Triveni Needles Pvt. Ltd. v. Union of India decided on 28.01.2020 and the same be disposed of in same terms.

In view of above, the writ petitions are disposed of in terms of decision of this Court in CWP No. 33742 of 2019 dated 28.01.2020.

Since the petitions are disposed of, the pending application(s), if any, also stands disposed of.
