The matter is taken up for hearing by way of a praecipe filed by the Applicants for seeking urgent relief.

The Applicants seek an extension of time to dispose of the interlocutory applications pending in the S.A. as directed by this Tribunal vide order dated 20.11.2023.

The Ld. Counsel appearing for the Respondent bank submits that the Applicants have been seeking unnecessary adjournment before the Debts Recovery Tribunal, (D.R.T) and getting the disposal protracted.

The Ld. Counsel appearing for the Petitioners stated that no adjournment was sought by the Applicants and that the matter got otherwise. It is undertaken that no further extension or adjournment would be sought before the DRT and the DRT shall dispose of the pending interlocutory applications as expeditiously as possible at any rate within two months.

No further unnecessary adjournment shall be sought. The DRT shall also attempt to dispose of the S.A. expeditiously

The applications shall be disposed of.
