Judgment
Rajiv Sharma, J.—Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner.
The order of suspension was assailed by the petitioner by filing a Writ Petition No. 1524 (SB) of 2008 and the Writ Court disposed of the writ petition by means of the order dated 22.10.2008 with a direction to the opposite parties to conclude the enquiry expeditiously.
As the Writ Court''s Order was not complied with, the contempt proceedings were initiated and notices were issued to the opposite parties. In pursuance thereof, the order of suspension was revoked by means of the order dated 19.3.2009 and the petitioner has been reinstated in service.
The grievance of the petitioner is that the salary for the period from the date of suspension to the date of revocation of the suspension order has not been paid.
As the order of suspension has already been revoked and the petitioner has been reinstated in service and in case, the petitioner moves a representation in respect of payment of salary from the date of suspension to the date of revocation of the suspension order, the same shall be considered and appropriate orders shall be passed within two months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order.
With these observations, the contempt petition is dismissed. Notice issued to the opposite parties is discharged.
