The grievance of the petitioner firm is that investment incentive amount of Rs. 2,41,000/- under the "Package of Incentives-1992" and which was duly sanctioned as per Memo dated 31.01.1997 (Annexure P-1) has not been released till date.
Notice of motion.
On the asking of the Court Mr. Abhaypal Singh Gill, Asstt. Advocate General, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and waives service. A complete copy of the writ paper-book already stands furnished.
Learned State counsel submits that the case of the petitioner would be considered as per seniority and eligibility.
In view of the above, instant writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the concerned authority to consider the claim of the petitioner within a period of three months from today and to pass a speaking order after affording an opportunity of hearing.
Needless to observe that in case the petitioner is found entitled to the incentive amount, the same would be released without any further delay.
Disposed of.
