Bakhshish Kaur, J.—The petitioners were appointed as Chowkidars in Food and Supplies Department as daily wagers. They have invoked jurisdiction of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of mandamus directing the respondents to regularise their services in view of the instructions dated 7.3.1996, Annexure P2 and 18.3.1996, Anuexure P3, as they have completed more than 6 to 10 years of service.

The petition was contested by respondents but during the course of arguments learned counsel for the respondents stated that the competent authority will consider the case of the petitioners for regularisation of their services in view of the judgments rendered in Aman Kumar and others v. State of Haryana and others, CWP No. 572 of 1998, decided on 3.4.2000 and Chet Ram and others v. Slate of Haryana and others, CWP No. 19270 of 1996 decided on 20.2.1997 annexed to this petition as Annexure P5.

In view of the submission made above, and keeping in view, the peculiar facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction, that within five months from the receipt of the certified copy of order the respondents shall consider the case of the petitioners for regularisation of services in accordance with rules and the judgments rendered in CWP No. 572 of 1998 and CWP No. 19270 of 1996 and pass appropriate order.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
