Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to grant an interim

injunction restraining the respondent from in any manner whatsoever directly or indirectly, giving effect to or acting upon the impugned provision or

requiring the petitioner or its members to register itself/ themselves with the service tax authorities or collecting any taxes on the basis of Section

65(105)(zzzzm) read with Section 66 Finance Act, 1994, pending disposal of the above writ petition. No. 2674/2012.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of

M/s.P.V. S.Giridhar & SAI ASSC, Advocate for the petitioner the court made the following order:

There shall be an order of interim injunction restraining the respondent from compelling the members of the petitioner Association from registering

themselves with the service tax authorities and from collecting service tax from them, until further orders. Notice.
