Instant petition has been filed seeking issuance of directions to the official respondents to take necessary measures to protect life and liberty of the petitioners as they apprehend threat to the same on account of having entered into matrimony against the wishes of the immediate relatives and elders of petitioner No.2.
Since an advance copy of the petition had already been served upon the State of Haryana, Mr. Vivek Saini, learned Additional Advocate General, Haryana informs the Court that an FIR bearing No.191, dated 24.12.2021 already stands registered at Police Station Pingwan, District Nuh under Sections 354-D/452/506/376/34 IPC and Section 4 of the POCSO Act. Such FIR has been registered at the instance of petitioner No.1 herein.
Having been confronted with such situation, counsel for the petitioners at this stage informs the Court that petitioner No.1-Madhu has since joined the company of her parents and is not residing with petitioner No.2.
Under such factual premise, there would be no occasion for this Court to entertain the instant petition.
Petition is dismissed.
