This is a Civil Writ Petition filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondent No.2 to decide the appeal dated 12.11.2018 (Annexure P-3) filed by the petitioner.
Learned counsel for UT Chandigarh has submitted that appeal filed by the petitioner has been decided vide order dated 17.05.2024 and a copy of the said order has been handed over to the Court during the course of arguments which is taken on record and marked as Mark “A” and has submitted that in view of the same, the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that in view of the same, the present writ petition may kindly be disposed of as having been rendered infructuous with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the abovesaid order in accordance with law.
In view of the above, the present writ petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous with liberty aforesaid.
