Heard learned counsel for the parties.

Learned counsel for the parties are in agreement for disposal of the present writ petition at this stage.

Learned counsel for the petitioner relies upon the order dated 07.03.2018 passed by this Court in a bunch of writ petitions led by S.B. Civil Writ Petition No.2018/2015 (Smt. Shanti Devi Vs. State of Rajasthan and Anr.) and urges that since the controversy involved in the case at hand is same, therefore, identical directions be issued in this case as well.

Mr. Govind Suthar, learned counsel for the respondent do not object to the said submission.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent-Municipal Board, Sumerpur to decide the application submitted by the petitioner for allotment of the Patta as per law, within a period of two months from today. The application filed by the petitioner for grant of Patta shall be considered objectively and in accordance with law. It is made clear that in case, such application is rejected by the Municipal Board, Sumerpur, the petitioner would be free to avail the remedy of filing revision thereagainst as provided under Section 327 of the Municipalities Act.

Till such application is decided, status quo as it exists today in relation to the disputed plot, shall be maintained.
