Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondents have insisted upon a suitability certificate from the Indian Nursing Council, despite the petitioner-institution being duly recognized. He further submits that the petitioner has already submitted representations before the concerned authorities, but no decision has been taken thereon, while counselling for admission to B.Sc. Nursing for the academic session 2026-27 is likely to commence shortly. He, therefore, prays that the petitioner-institution be permitted to continue with its recognition for the academic session 2026-27.

Learned counsel for respondents No.3 and 4 jointly submits that the suitability certificate would be essential and that the petitioner has to approach the concerned authority. They submit that after due verification of the faculty and other criteria, the concerned authority will recommend to respondent No.2 for grant of the suitability certificate, subject to the petitioner fulfilling all the criteria prescribed for the suitability certificate.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, at this stage, submits that the petitioner is willing to approach the concerned authority for necessary recommendation for obtaining the suitability certificate, in accordance with law.
