Judgment
Vide the present petition, petitioner prays as under:
(i) To quash the impugned order dated 25.04.2022 (Annexure-P1) issued by the DIG Estt Dte. CRPF and also the order dated 09.08.2022 (Annexure-P2) issued by the Digcent (pers) CRPF;
(ii) To direct the respondents to promote the petitioner to the rank of Assistant Commandant with seniority at par with his batch-mates;
(iii) To direct the respondents to adjudicate the representation given by the petitioner (Annexure-P9) for his promotion to the post of Assistant Commandant in a time bound manner.
Ms.Garima Sachdeva, learned Senior Panel Counsel appears on advance notice and submits that respondents will take decision on the issue raised in the present petition in a time bound manner.
Accordingly, we hereby dispose of the present petition by giving direction to the respondents to treat the present petition as a representation and decide the same within four weeks from today and the decision taken shall be communicated to the petitioner within one week thereafter.
Needless to say, if the petitioner is still aggrieved by the decision of the respondents, he may challenge the same before the appropriate Forum.
