Judgment

Petitioner is a limited company which deals in the manufacturing of MDF boards and plywood. Petitioner-company runs its unit at SIDCUL, Pantnagar, District Udham Singh Nagar.
Petitioner has moved the present writ petition seeking a direction to respondent No.1 to register the company under Clause 7.3 of the Industrial Development Scheme floated for Himanchal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The Scheme was floated in the year 2017 and the registration, if made, would bring certain benefits to the petitioner-Company.
Petitioner moved an application for its registration under the aforesaid Scheme in 2021, which was still pending disposal with respondent No.1.
Learned counsel for petitioner made an innocuous prayer that if a direction is issued to competent authority in respondent No.1 to decide petitioner’s application for registration in accordance with the Scheme, the ends of justice would be met.
Since, petitioner’s application for its registration is pending disposal since 2021, the writ petition can be finally disposed of with a direction to competent authority in respondent No.1 to decide the same, in accordance with law, after hearing all the stakeholders.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to Competent Authority in respondent No.1 to take a decision on application of petitioner-Company for its registration, in accordance with law, after hearing all the stakeholders, within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and if the registration is done, all the dividends and benefits would flow in accordance with law.
Pending application, if any, stands disposed of.
