This (first) appeal under section 14A (2) of the SC & ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 is preferred by appellant- Lokesh being aggrieved by the order dated 10.09.2025 in BA No.1116/2025 by Special Judge (SC & ST (POA) Act, 1989), Dewas whereby the trial court has rejected the application under section 483 of the B.N.S.S., 2023 seeking bail in connection with crime No.295/2025 registered at P.S.-Kaantafod, District- Dewas (M.P.) for the offence punishable under sections 64(2)(m), 351(3) of the BNS, 2023 and sections 3(2)(v), 3(2)(va) and 3(1)(w)(ii) of SC/ ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.
Counsel for the appellant submits that the appellant is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in the offence. The investigation is over and charge sheet has been filed. The conclusion of trial will take long time.
Hence prayed for release of the appellant on bail.
Counsel for the State opposed the appeal.
Considering the allegations of establishing physical relations under the threat to viral the video of private acts, I am not inclined to grant bail to the appellant. Accordingly, this criminal appeal is dismissed at present.
