Judgment
This matter is taken up through video conferencing mode.
This petition had been filed as a PIL way back in 2002 questioning the work order ordered to Opposite Party No.3 for construction of G.P. Road
from Madhusudanpur to Bhaktibramhapur village in Bhadrak Block.
On 8th April, 2002 this Court directed status quo to be maintained.
In paragraph-12 of the counter affidavit it has been pointed out that even prior to the interim order, the work had already been executed and the
payment of the Contractor had already been cleared against the final bill.
In view of the above, nothing remains in the present petition. It is accordingly disposed of
As the restrictions due to resurgence of COVID-19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a printout of the order
available in the High Court’s website, at par with certified copy, subject to attestation by the concerned advocate, in the manner prescribed vide
Court’s Notice No.4587, dated 25th March, 2020 as modified by Court’s Notice No.4798, dated 15th April, 2021.
