This is a petition under Section 29A(4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 19961 for extension of the mandate of the learned arbitrator who was in seisin of the dispute between the parties. The mandate of the learned arbitrator is stated to have expired on 28 August 2024.

Learned Counsel for the respondents has no objection.

Accordingly, the mandate of the learned arbitrator stands extended by a period of one year from 28 August 2024. The mandate shall be treated as continuing from the date it expired.

The petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
