Judgment
Learned counsel for both the parties has been heard. As the matter is pending for long time, both the learned counsel agrees that they are ready to settle the matter between the parties. Learned counsel for the petitioner offered that they have already deposited the amount as ordered by the District Forum with the District Forum and they are ready to give that amount to the complainant with whatever interest accrued on that amount. This amount has been deposited with the District Forum in compliance of the order dated 19.03.2014 passed by this Commission, while granting stay. Learned counsel for the respondent/ complainant also agrees with the proposal. Accordingly, the revision petition no. 1281 of 2014 stand disposed of with the consent of both the parties. District Forum is directed to release the amount of Rs. 1,42,540/- (Rs.5,500 + Rs.77,040 + Rs. 50,000 + Rs.10,000 = Rs.1,42,540) deposited by the petitioner/ opposite party with the District Forum in compliance of the order dated 19.03.2014 passed by this Commission along with accrued interest to the complainant within a period of 45 days subject to the verification of the deposited amount as well as of the recipient.
