Judgment

Petitioner has filed an application under Rule 109-A of U.P. Consolidation of Holdings Rules, 1954, which is pending before Consolidation Officer, Kichha, District Udham Singh Nagar.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has apprised the Court that the said application was filed in the month of July, 2021.
By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought a direction to the Consolidation Officer concerned to dispose of the said application expeditiously.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that objection under Section 9-A of U.P. Consolidation of Holdings Act, 1953 were filed by the petitioner in the year 1988 and the final order passed in the said proceedings has not been executed so far.
In such view of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to Consolidation Officer, Kichha, District Udham Singh Nagar to expedite hearing of the aforesaid application of the petitioner filed under Rule 109-A of U.P. Consolidation of Holdings Rules, 1954 and conclude the proceedings, in accordance with law, as early as possible, preferably within a period of one year from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
