Judgment

The writ petitioners, two in number, have approached this Court assailing the orders dated 10th January, 2022 and 31st January, 2022 whereby by the former, they were directed to get themselves vaccinated and on failure to submit the vaccination certificate were not allowed to enter the office premises and by the latter, they were directed to submit their leave applications for the relevant period from 13-01-2022 upto 31-01-2022, failing which their absence shall be treated as absence from duty.
The matter was taken up on 27-05-2022 and on that day, Mr. K.S.Kharshiing, learned counsel had entered appearance on behalf of the respondents and prayed for time to obtain instructions in the matter.
Today, Mr. K.S.Kharshiing, learned counsel for the respondents has produced a letter bearing No. MPCB/GEN-316/2020/PART-I/ 53 dated Shillong the 27th May, 2022 whereby it has been stated therein that both the orders which have been impugned in the instant writ petition have been withdrawn and the writ petitioners have been directed to attend their duties immediately. Copy of this letter is taken on board, marked as ‘X’ and made part of the record.
In view of the withdrawal of the orders dated 10th January, 2022 and 31 st January, 2022, nothing remains for further consideration in this matter and same is accordingly closed and disposed of.
