Judgment
Jora Singh, J.—Complaint was received on the allegation that Sadhu Singh (brother of the Petitioner) was taken away by Surjit Singh and some other persons with the help of police.
Learned State counsel has filed reply by way of affidavit of Swaran Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division, Sangrur alongwith death certificate of Baba Sadhu Singh and the same is taken on record.
Reply is to the effect that Baba Sadhu Singh has expired on 13.09.2010 and proceedings u/s 145 Code of Criminal Procedure are still pending with the Sub Divisional Magistrate, Sunam, and next date is 22.03.2011 for arguments.
Learned State counsel states that DDR No. 18 dated 04.01.2010 was registered and after that Sadhu Singh Changal and his followers as party No. 1 and Baba Surjit Singh Duggan and his followers as part No. 2 were challaned. He further states that there was a dispute between Sant Baba Sadhu Singh Changal and his supporters and Baba Surjit Singh Duggan and his supporters regarding the property belonging to Gurdwara Sach Khand Angitha Sahib, Mastuana and its Golak.
In view of the abovesaid reply, no further action is required to be taken at this stage.
For the reasons recorded above, the instant petition without merits is dismissed.
