Judgment
Nirmaljit Kaur, J.—This is a petition u/s 482 Code of Criminal Procedure for issuance of directions to official Respondents to protect the life and liberty of the Petitioner at the hands of private Respondents.
Reply on behalf of Respondents No. 1 to 4 has already been filed. As per the reply, a civil suit qua land is pending between the parties and FIR No. 85 dated 06.10.2009 under Sections 323, 148, 149 and 506 IPC, as well as, FIR No. 109 dated 08.11.2009 under Sections 323, 341, 506, 447/34 IPC have been registered against the present Petitioner.
It is further submitted in para 1 of the reply that there is no threat to the life and liberty of the Petitioner from any person and that the Petitioner never approached the concerned authority for providing him any protection.
In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed.
However, in case, the Petitioner still feels threatened at the hands of private Respondents, he is at liberty to approach the authority concerned for the said relief.
