Petitioner,who is working as CSR Assistant Grade-I, CSSD, PGIMER,Chandigarh has filed the instant writ petition inter alia challenging the order dated 3.4.2017 (P-1) passed by Central Administrative Tribunal,Chandigarh whereby her Original Application challenging the vires of Impugned Proposed Amended New Recruitment Rules(Annexure A-16) to the extent these discriminate between the feeder cadre employees and outside/direct recruits having a lesser education qualification requirement, was dismissed.
Notice of motion was issued.
On 29.8.2019, counsel for the petitioner stated that petitioner now possessed 10 years' experience for being considered for promotion to the post of Supervisor,CSSD,for which post she had already been given additional charge in her own pay scale of the post of CST Assistant Grade-I and that she would be satisfied if she is now considered and if found suitable promoted to the post of Supervisor. Upon this, learned counsel for the respondents prayed for time to seek instructions.
At the time of hearing today, learned counsel for the respondents has produced a copy of letter dated 9.9.2019 received by her from the office of Administrative Officer, Establishment Branch-I, PGIMER,Chandigarh wherein it is stated that due administrative procedure is being followed to consider petitioner's case for promotion to the post of Supervisor w.e.f. 5.2.2019. Copy of the said letter is taken on record.
In view of the contents of the said letter, learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions states that instant writ petition has become infructuous and be disposed of accordingly.
Disposed of as having become infructuous.
