Judgment
K.R. Mohapatra, J
This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.
The Petitioner in this writ petition prays for a direction to replace the defective meter and also assails the revised bill dated 21st December, 2010. He also prays for a direction for issuance of a fresh energy bill by setting aside the order under Annexure-3 series.
It is submitted by Mr. Rout, learned counsel for the Petitioner that pursuant to the interim order dated 21st February, 2011 passed in Misc. Case No.1847 of 2010, power supply to the premises of the Petitioner has already been restored subject to deposit of Rs.7,000/-. In the meantime, fresh bill has also been issued. He, however, submits that the fresh energy bills are defective.
Mr. Dash, learned counsel appearing for the CESU (presently TPCODL) submits that if the Petitioner has any grievance against the bills issued, he may approach the Grievance Redressal Forum for appropriate relief.
Since the Petitioner has already been issued with fresh energy bills in the meantime and the power supply has already been restored to his premises, nothing remains to be adjudicated in this writ petition.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of as infructuous. If the Petitioner has any grievance against the fresh energy bills issued, he may take appropriate action in accordance with law.
Interim order dated 21st February, 2011 passed in Misc. Case No.1847 of 2010 stands vacated.
Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
