The petitioners have applied for the post of Auxiliary Nurse Midwife/Village Health Nurse, as per the notification issued by the Medical Services Recruitment Board, vide its Notification No.10/MRB/2023, dated 11.10.2023. The grievance of the petitioners is that, the respondent Board, by way of Corrigendum-II, dated 24.11.2025 has altered the selection criteria by excluding the Higher Secondary marks. Challenging the Corrigendum-II, dated 24.11.2025, the petitioners have filed this writ petition.
2.Mrs.P.Yasmin Begum, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondent Medical Board.
3.Today, when this writ petition is taken up for admission, it is brought to the notice of this Court that this Court has already entertained similar writ petitions in WP.(MD)No.303 & 313 of 2026, wherein, this Court has permitted the petitioners therein to participate in the counselling scheduled to be held on 07.01.2026.
4.Since this Court has already entertained similar writ petitions in WP.(MD)Nos.303 & 313 of 2026 and has also granted an interim relief, the petitioners are also allowed to participate in the counselling scheduled from 07.01.2026 to 10.01.2026.
5.List this matter on 12.01.2026 along with WP(MD) Nos.303 & 313 of 2026, immediately after admission, for the response of the respondent as to how they are justified in issuing Corrigendum-II.
