K.M. Joseph, J.—Petitioner has approached this Court seeking police protection for the loading and unloading works in the Petitioner''s shop using his permanent workers. There is no dispute that only applications are pending for registration of his workers under the Kerala Head Load Workers Act. As of now the Petitioner cannot be granted protection. Learned counsel for the Petitioner presses the additional prayer, namely, to direct the additional 3rd Respondent to consider and take a decision on Exts.P3 and P4 applications within a period of one week.

2.

We heard the learned Counsel for the Petitioner and also the learned Government Pleader. We dispose of the writ petition as follows:

While declining the first prayer, we direct the additional 3rd Respondent to consider and take a decision on Exts. P3 and P4 at the earliest, at any rate within a period of one month from the date of production of a copy of this judgment. The Petitioner will produce a copy of this judgment before the additional 3rd Respondent for compliance.
