Judgment
Antony Dominic, J.—By Annexure A2 order the Central Administrative Tribunal allowed O.A. No. 213 of 2006 with the following directions:
In view of these facts and reasons stated above, we declare that the applicant is legitimately entitled for interest on the arrears paid to him for the period from 01.08.1973 to 30.11.2001 and it shall be computed at the rate of 8%. We also direct that this amount shall be paid to the applicant within a period of two months from the date of receipt of this order. No costs.
The Respondents before Tribunal challenged the said order by filing W.P.(C) No. 19375 of 2007. By Annexure A1 judgment this Court dismissed the writ petition. It is complaining of the disobedience of Annexure A2 order of the Tribunal, this Contempt Petition has been filed.
In our view, if at all there is disobedience and the provisions of the Contempt of Court Act are attracted, it is for Contempt Case (Civil) No. 317 OF 2011 the Petitioner to seek his remedies before the Tribunal itself. For this reason, this Contempt Case is only to be dismissed and it is so ordered.
