B.S. Walia, J

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner states that despite application (Annexure P-2) having been made to the department of Education Primary/Elementary, District Bathinda in June, 2014, no decision has been taken in respect thereto and in any case even if any decision has been taken, the same has not been conveyed to the petitioner till date.

Learned counsel states that in the circumstances, the petitioner would be satisfied, if the writ petition is disposed of by directing respondent No.3 to consider and decide the application (Annexure P-2) in accordance with law.

Notice of motion on the limited aspect of the matter.

Ms. Gurkirat Kaur, learned Assistant Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice.

Learned Assistant Advocate General, Punjab, states that she has no objection to the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner.

In view of the statement of learned counsel for the parties, the writ petition is disposed of by directing respondent No.3 to consider and decide the application (Annexure P-2) in accordance with law, as early as possible.
