This is an application under Section 151 CPC for preponing the case as the petitioners seek to withdraw the main writ petition.
In view of the averments made in the application, the application is allowed and the main case is preponed from 21.08.2024 to today itself for hearing.

This is a civil writ petition filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondent no.1 to allow the petitioners to take their supplementary exams through respondent no.2. Other prayers have also been made in the present writ petition.
Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that since the supplementary exams have already been conducted by the Punjab Nurses Registration Council in the month of December, 2023, the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous and has submitted that the petitioners be permitted to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to file a fresh writ petition in case the petitioners are not allowed to take supplementary exams in future.
In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty aforesaid.
