The petitioner challenges the order of District Collector (Deputy Commissioner) Poonch dated 18.07.2019 whereby the appeal filed by the petitioner/appellant against the order dated 21.06.2016 passed by the learned Sub Divisional Magistrate,Mendhar has been dismissed.
The District Collector (Deputy Commissioner) Poonch has held in the order (supra) that the mutation No. 1107(394/C) of Village Gohlad attested infavour of the petitioner/appellant is fake, forged and fabricated and non-est in the eyes of law.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has also an alternate remedy available with him under the provisions of Land Revenue Act by way of filing a revision before the Divisional Commissioner. If that be so, then considering the nature of allegations made against the petitioner, which might involve scrutiny of records, it would be appropriate for the petitioner to avail the alternate remedy, which is equally efficacious.
Be that as it may, the petition is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to avail the alternate remedy available with him under the provisions of Land Revenue Act.
Connected application also stands disposed of accordingly.
