This contempt petition arises out of the judgment and order dated 13.09.2019 passed in W.P.No.31532/2017 whereby, a direction was issued to the accused to pay maintenance of Rs.7,500/- per month till consideration of the proceedings pending under Section 125 of Cr.P.C. by the Family Court. It was also provided that the accused, being the father of the child, has bounden duty to pay the cost of educational expenses including transportation.
Learned counsel for the complainant has informed that during the pendency of the contempt proceedings, the accused has paid the maintenance amount, school fees as well as transportation fees of the child. Now, only money for purchasing school uniforms and shoes is required to be paid.
Learned counsel for the accused, on the basis of instructions, submits that the accused would also pay the money which is spent on the school uniforms and shoes of the child within two weeks.
Considering the stand of the accused, we hereby dispose of this contempt petition with the observation that the accused shall abide by the undertaking given to this Court.
