We have been informed that by, a notification issued yesterday, the Appointments Committee of Cabinet has approved appointment of Hon’ble Mr. Justice Anupinder Singh Grewal, a retired Judge of High Court of Punjab and Haryana, to be the President of the NCLT1.

With that, the lis in this writ petition, which deals with the appointment of Acting President in the NCLT, has been rendered infructuous and is accordingly disposed of.
